Playfulness. Flow. Surrender. Purification

Irish Moss is a seaweed that grows in the cold waters of the North Atlantic. A practice that came over from the coast of Ireland as well as deep roots in Native American culture, this seaweed was harvested for a multitude of nutritional and medicinal purposes.

This Essence was brewed on the Full Moon Eclipse of March 14, 2025, a time of powerful astrological movement, release, and intensity. The week leading up to the Eclipse, this ally was teaching me to ride the strong waves of intensity with ease, joy, and utter surrender.

Seaweed stays rooted solidly to ocean rocks and knows how to ride the waves that wash over them, playfully flowing along with the current, not fighting it. Irish Moss reminds me of psychedelic mushrooms, numerous, rooted, connected, and playful.

This Essence has helped to feel more into physical embodiment, dance, movement and simply learn how to weather the waves of intensity in times of great change. It’s connected me to fun while also powerfully revealing anything that keeps me from joyful embodiment.

Connected to the element of water, I feel her cleansing power, like a dip in the ocean, washing away density and flowing into my life again.
